Title: Does anyone remember this motorcycle video disc game? What was it called?
Post by: quanlee on March 06, 2008, 04:52:42 pm
I was in disney world around 1980, they had a very large game room in the basement of the Contemporary Resort. There was a motorcycle racing game that I believe ran off a video disc. You directed your motorcycle by steering into various fixed lanes, and controlling the speed. The tracks were pretty advanced, lots of curves and futuristic 3D environments. There were other bikes you raced against and various obsticles to dodge.

I thought it was pretty cool. Has anyone else ever seen this game? Any idea what it was called? Could it have been a propriatary game made by Disney?

I remember playing that when I was about 16 at Disney but never saw it elsewhere.
I'll see if my dad has vacation pics of this weekend.

Star Rider
Terrible game. Looked cool though. I liked watching it rather than pay the $1 they wanted.

Though the roms are availabe at Daphne main, the game isn't yet in Daphne.

I remember playing it. I think they only wanted fifty cents, though I can see it being a dollar at DW.
