Posted this in B/S/T last week and thought I would see if I had better luck here.
I'm looking for 1 or 2 of the green handles for a Loop-24 joystick, the kind used for the game Caliber 50. I don't need the entire joystick, just the green handle/knob. If you have one on an Ikari-style LS-30 joystick, I can also give you a replacement yellow handle.

tried the same thing last year in B/S/T as well as google groups and Klov. This game is not common and therefore the handles are likewise not common. My idea was to have yellow and green p3 and 4 controls. having no luck online, I decided to visit all local arcades in the area and attempt to swap it out with my LS-30 wrench (yellow for green) on a Cal 50 when I found it. I live north of Boston, MA. I visited a number of older arcades including Good Times Emporium in Sommerville, Salem Willows, Salem, MA ; all arcades on Salisbury Beach, NH; all arcades on Hampton Beach, NH; and Funspot - none have this game (for reference, this represents about 8 oldschool arcades and maybe 400 classic games).
After all that nonsense I decided to try to dye the handle- (this was during BYOAC's dyeing of plastics phase). Didnt work. The plastic is not porous enough. So I finally decided on painting them. The paint job came out very good and after doing a green version, I settled on a red, metalized look for all my buttons and sticks.
Not a great pic but if you zoom in you will notice that p3 and p4 are both LS-30s that have been painted. Those sticks as well as all my buttons have been painted to match my aluminum bat handles and yes they are holding up very well.
So in conclusion- just paint them- you are now not limited to two colors and rest assured the paint job holds up very well.
