Title: What are some known arcade machines that came with 27" monitors?
Post by: ivwshane on February 21, 2008, 07:38:17 pm
I've got a 27" tv I'm using for my cab and before I finalize the cab design I want to use I'd like to see some real arcade machines that typically came with larger monitors 26"+.

Can anyone think of any cabs that fit the bill?

Thanks.

You might get a better response in the Main Forum or the Monitor/Video Forum than here... All of the games I used to play had 19" monitors max!

My cabinet is a Dynamo that came with a 25" monitor originally, but I installed a 27" TV vertically. It looked like a decased TV would have just fit horizontally. Think this cab was referred to as the HS-25, but I'm not sure.
Side view, then one with the 27" flat screen CRT.

Gauntlet Legends had a 27" in it.  There's a few other machines out there based on the Vegas board in those beasts that also used the same cabinet, so I'd expect that they also had the same size screen; Dark Legacy and NFL Blitz come to mind.
