I wouldn't sweat it though...you only miss out on a couple of games, the rest are just hacked versions...and I guess the trackball support.  There was a thread on here somewhere saying that it wasn't really worth it unless you were going to usethe trackball and then only just since there are only like 7 or so trackball games.

That is the "A" quality board.  If your board doesn't have the square chip in the upper right corner,  it's either a "B" quality board or an very old "A" quality board.

How much did you pay?

You've got a "B" board.  It's a Chinese knock off of the "A" board.   As of version .309,  there is very little difference between the "A" and "B" boards...so no worries.

$166.00 is a bit steep for a "B" board though (unless you bought it more than a couple months ago).  They can be had in the US for $140.00 or so and directly from Asia at about $115.00 shipped.

Take a look at the attached file.  That is a supplement sheet I created which includes information for all the games included in a 48-in-1 board including joystick (13 8-way / 35 4-way), number of buttons,  and their STOCK (or as close to) DIP switch settings.

I'm going to start wiring mine this week, the plan is to use a arcade power supply.  I understand there is a out jack for speakers do you use amplified speakers on your board

I'm kicking around using this for speakers in cocktail instead of hacking a creative 2.1 setup
thanks

I own 2 of these card  , a A Board and a B Board , i bought them together to compare.

It is in french, but you can "understand" the photos! As said FrizzleFried the A Board is the only one to have the square ship.

The "C" board looks identical to the "B" board minus a couple capacitors.  I've not seen a "C" board in many months.   I think as of the latest revision .309 that "B" and "A" are the only ones left.
