Title: Please help me understand what's the deal with localarcade.com
Post by: Akuma on December 26, 2007, 06:50:47 pm
Well, since my cab is coming together nicely, I started to take care of the cabinet's art.

I already browsed localarcade.com sometimes but I now encountered a big questionmark. For example:

http://localarcade.com/arcade_art/r-non-vector-12-non-vector-marquees-13-marquees-new-astro-city-1317.htm

All I see is something that looks like a place holder. Well, the thing I particularly don't understand is that the statistics tell that it has been downloaded 26 times. BUT:

To me, it appears that it can only be send as an e-card.

WTF?

It's the same with alot others (some Capcom instruction sheets for example) - only e-cards. WHY?

SirWoogie is in charge of it now. Perhaps he can chime in. Make sure you are registered as a member, I have all sorts of errors with that site if I don't log in first.

I was just on and it works fine.

Try doing this...

Create a login/password
Find the art you want and click the "lightbox" button under the thumbnail
Go to your lightbox and download all the items you have checked.[/li][/list]

I think you are running into issues because you are clicking the item and want to download one at a time.
That would be way to easy.  ;D

I have the exact same problem.

The lightbox method mentioned above works fine though.
