I posted this in the Main forum, but I don't know if it should go in this one or that one, so I am posting it in both and the mods can delete one or the other if it's not kosher. Anyway, I have an ACT LABS USB Light gun. It says it works with CRT monitors and VGA cards, but I have an ArcadeVGA for my Mame cab which converts the VGA to RGB for the arcade monitor. Anyone have a fix for the incompatibilty of the light gun with the RGB output of the ArcadeVGA card? Below are some pics of my problem. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. Thanks - Mike.

i have seen posts regarding this problem,i think the issue is to do with the act labs needs a seperate horizontal and vertical sync signal as oppossed to a composite(h+v) which i guess you have at the mo
try a search on the forum, good luck

grantspain is correct your running composite H and V together and the act labs need the H and V seperated each on their own signal paths.
the only known fix if you monitor will only do composite is sell the act labs and get a lcd topgun but the issue with the topgun is you have to stand 6 feet or so away from the machine apparently.
