Great! All I have to do to enter your contest is buy something. :(
-
Not Really. You should probably check again before you miss out.
-
says "under construction, go back" for me... :'(

I know, it may be kinda confusing. I've got several contests and drawings..
The Daily Drawing is reserved for customers...this is the ONLY drawing of this kind that requires a purchase....
The Daily Giveaway is not yet operational...this will be a slot-machine type of display that will allow each and every mameroom visitor to play once per day to pull the lever. On the slot machine wheels will be push buttons, IPACs, and SlikStik and X-arcade controllers as a grand prize.
The Monthly giveaway is also for any mameroom visitor to sign up for.
I will also be hosting random giveaways for Mameroom visitors like this one...the first 10 people to reply to the message thread regarding the latest giveaway will receive a free pushbutton...(a couple slots left).
I will be having random giveaways like this throughout the month.
There are also the artwork contest and the best cab contest.
With so much to give away, It can get confusing...but there is only the one drawing reserved for customers...the rest is open game...free too!

No, seriously! Go get em! There is 1 left! Just reply to his post on his message board!

What state are you in? Most states have laws against having purchase-required drawings. It's called.... gambling.

Hmmm... I don't know? CyberPunk answers to a larger company (how big, I don't know) I think they would have cought this. I think it is probably legit.

Most states consider it a private lottery if you require a purchase to enter a contest, big brother doesn't like competition.
-
Don't most companies that offer a prize and who really want you to purchase for entry say that "No Purchase Is Required" but send a 3 x 5.75 inch card with name address etc etc and a 50 word essay about why Supers are better then Ultimate joystick or some such fluff?
So the only easy way to enter is by purchase but you can enter for free so it is a free contest not a lottery.

Wouldn't surprise me if they threw out all the "free" entries as well instead of including them with the "paid" entries in the actual drawing... I've long suspected they do...

Publisher's Clearing House got caught doing they about 5 to 10 years back. Settled out of court.

Not an issue anymore anyways...the only contest/drawing going on that required a purchase is now over...someone won a complete set of 4-player controls...EVERY other drawing/contest on the www.mameroom.com website are completely free for everyone. There's a small button giveaway going on right now.
