... near NYC, specifically. I've done a few searches here and on eBay but most seem to be located overseas. One of these days I'd like to own one of the Super Neos (http://highway.net.au/parts/cabinets/6052.html)...

I'd swap you a crappy plastic/paper thin metal piece of crap for an original American machine any day mate.

Really? I guess the grass is always greener... Candy Cabs look so nice to me...

I LOVE my candy cab. There's a dealer here in Utah that stocks the 25" and 29" Super Neos. They're perfect for a nice NeoGeo setup. I have a 4 slot in mine.

How much does he charge for them? I'm guessing shipping across the countrry would kill the deal though...

Forgive me for asking, but what is a Candy Cab?

$300-$400 for them. I don't know about shipping.

Really ive seen some on ebay for around 200 near NYC.

I take it from this discussion that they possibly make good cabinets for modification? If the monitor/display comes with them, it might not be a bad price for a ready-to-mod cabinet.

The monitors are gorgeous!
The ones I'm talking about are in excellent condition with brand new monitors. That's why they are getting in the $300-$400 range.

Are most of these types of cabinets sharing the 2-joystick/3-button control panel layout? I think that would be a major limitation to conversion-to-MAME if the CP real estate is too limited.

A new 29" monitor (which I think is really a 27" one) would make the $300-$400 price very reasonable...
