Title: New Catlist/Catver?

Hi, this might be a stupid question... is there a catver list I can use with something like MCM or RomLister to get rid of certain games (non working, adult, unneccessary clones etc) in the Mame .120 set to leave me with a set of roms that has only one of each game (one per language, if appropriate)?  The most recent catver list I can find is .09something... will this work with the 120 set?  Thanks!

You can certainly use older catvers with newer rom sets.  You just won't have any information on any of the new games added since the catver was last published.  You may have to go through those by hand and weed them out though.  Aren't all the new games added majhong games anyway? ;)

This makes me think that since I'm using catver with my software, that perhaps I should kick it up a bit and go submit some new entries to catver to help it get up to date...

Look for the unofficial catver, which is at mameitaly or something like that.  The "real" catver hasn't been updated in almost a year.
