I'm attempting to run a MAME machine inside my Taito Egret cabinet, but I am a bit stuck on the speakers situation. This particular cabinet has 4 speakers (according to what I've found in forum searches, apparently run at 8 ohms each) which support stereo sound.
I'm looking to run a stereo line from my PC via an SA-155 (or equivalent) stereo amplifier, however, I'm a bit confused as to how this will work with 4 speakers (will I need two amps?). Has anyone else dealt with this particular cabinet in getting the sound to work? If so, what sort of wiring/amplification setup did you use?
I understand I could just put some PC speakers in, but I'd prefer to use the speakers that already come inside it.
Thanks!

Check your wiring diagram. You will probably find that the 4 speakers are wired as 2 pairs (L &R). The if the speakers are 8 ohms each then you probably have 2 in parallel for a 4 ohm load on each channel. If you have a stereo amp then you can connect it to your speakers. Just check a wiring diagram or trace the cables yourself.
