Anyone make their own rocket engines? Hows that work out for you? They are so expensive in the store now days.
-
My brother does, but he uses water as the propellant :P
-
What size engines are we talking here?
I doubt you could make anything cheaper yourself. I have a book on making your own, it is highly detailed and can be dangerous. At the surface it might look economical to try, but crash a few rockets due to bad ejection charges etc and any money you might have saved is gone pretty quickly.
Another option might be RMS motors. Click the "theatre" option on the left for more info http://www.aerotech-rocketry.com

Since when did this become the Rocket Science forum? My only experience with rockets is bottle rockets. >:D

From the Home page:

Questions, answers, and blank stares about working with wood and woodworking tools and model rocketry.
At least this time you didn't ask a question when you could have used the search function.... Now if we can get you to look around before asking questions....
