Title: Roms work in ADVmame but not in mame win command line

Any idea why roms work in Advancemame but in mame windows command line
it says missing roms?
Is there a quick way to fix convert all these roms?
almost half my roms are like this and ive 15gbs
there all zip files BTW

Either mame doesn't refer to the correct rom folder, or your AdvanceMame and Mame are different versions.  BTW, AdvanceMame is not currently updated anymore.

If it's the former, edit the mame.ini file to point to the roms folder (to make mame.ini, type mame -cc).
If it's the latter, clr mame pro (http://www.clrmame.com/).

Thats the point I dont use advancemame anymore
Was using as I was using Lincade
But decieded to give Windows a try and am now using MAME command line viewer with mamewah, but half the romsseem to be incomplete even though they worked in Advancemame and they were downloaded in a set made for mame 119

Ah it grand re-downloading the latest romset 120 I think it is 16gb  :banghead: 2days-3Days torrent on my connection :(

If they worked with mame 0.119, far more than a half should be still working with 0.120.  I'd guess 98% should still work (without any testing).

Have you run CMPro  (http://www.clrmame.com/)on the set & mame 0.120?  Or did you run cmpro on the old version of advancemame, and not rerun it on the current mame?

Or you could use mame 0.119 if that's the sets you have.
