Title: What material goes under cocktail glass?

Is it paper or maybe vinyl?  :dunno

Also will Kinko's or staples print my art work if I have redrawn pac man and donky kong art. I have used their likeness but redrew them to fit my cab theme. Example, pac man now has an evil look on his face and he is holding a Molotov cocktail, smashing it on a ghosts head.   >:D

I painted mine-  I think it looks cool painted. But, I've seen construction paper to plasticy vinyl stuff... almost like a bezel, but not as rigid.

I currently have laminated paper on mine.  Next one will be from mamemarquees though...whatever he uses
Current one was printed a kinkos and yes they printed the characters

My concern is condensation from cold beer mugs on the glass messing up my art work. I know what your thinking "don't put anthing on the glass." Wouldn't be much a cocktail table then would it. ???

Yo whammoed, do you think that condensation would wreck laminated paper through the glass? :dunno

As long as the edges of the paper are sealed in laminate, no. My underlay is large scale photo paper. I still need to get it laminated, but I plan on leaving about an 1/8" of laminate on all sides. If you don't the paper can wick in some moisture if exposed.

I trimmed mine after lamination, so the edge is exposed.  I have had one spill worth mentioning where the liquid got under the glass.  We dried it up immediately and the underlay shows no ill effects.  Condensation from cold beverages has never made it under the glass.
To be on the safe side, I will have Scott at mamemarquees print the next one.  The laminated paper has held up quite well though.
