the trouble im having is fuzzy picture im using a philips 21" tv with a scart in from pc svideo i swapped it with my sis for a brand new flat screen so i could use it in my cabinet but the screen is so bad i cant read anything has anyone any ideas my setup is amd 1.8 80 gb hard drive 320gb usb external ati 9600 (256mb) graphics card top end sound card please help thanks

the picture was o.k with the old t.v?if so whats different about your wiring

Yeah the picture from the crt is fine when you open menus (ie the menu is perfectly clear) so i know the tv is fine just when its displaying windows xp its quite fuzzy or mame for that matter. lots of red blue blur 4 pin svideo cable to scart 60 hz crt very grainy image like small lines any ideas

If your gonna get an ArcadeVGA card or mod your card, I'd highly reccommend the scart hack I done, Its brillant, picture perfect

If this is a flat screen, it may be a HDTV or EDTV which give higher resolution, which would involve scaling the picture, which may add some distortion. Additionally, most flatscreens are pixelized. You may want to run it at the HIGHEST resolution it supports, and enable stretching in MAME.
