Title: HOW TO READ BLOGS AFTER THEY ARE CREATED? (yep that's shouting)
Post by: bfauska on October 07, 2007, 09:36:44 pm
IS THERE ANY GOOD WAY TO NAVIGATE BLOGS AFTER THEY ARE CREATED? I don't often read blogs and am not familiar with how to read something episodic, BACKWARDS.  It's probably just me, but maybe somebody will clue me in.  If I go to the first entry I have to scroll to almost the bottom of the page, read my way to the bottom, then scroll up a little higher than where I started, the read my way back to the first place, then scroll up higher yet...etc, annoying to type and read a description of, even more annoying to actually carry out.

Blogs seem like a lovely idea for people who follow along, but for those of us who don't discover your saga until after it's through there really should be better way to read them.

Some have an option to view them in reverse order...which puts them in the right order.  But that is site dependant.

I read Gizmodo, but there's no narrative, so I can go weeks at a time without reading it, and then pop in unannounced one day and it's like I never left.  The only other blog I read is doublefine.com, and it is the way you say.  I drop in there once every few months and always have to scroll down to find where I left off and then read backwards.
