I would have taken that bagman and pole position from him.. and if i had room would have gone for that stargate too...
/edit dont look if you dont want to have a stomach ache.. I feel terrible now that I looked at those pics.. (its totally safe for work just cabinets being destroyed)

Yeah, Craig kinda snapped there (I've seen it happen to a couple of guys lately), although he does make some valid points about the pain of selling and giving things away (which he has done quiet a bit of).
At the end of the day, however, he wasn't the first and he won't be the last.
EDIT: Interesting interpretation of Kev's "To Preserve And Destroy" slogan though.

Here I am defending him and I don't even approve of what he did (I could have used some of the parts and that CC was pretty nice) ... oh well ...
He *has* given stuff away and, as he points out, you end up wasting days making plans for somebody to show up to pick up one item and half the time they don't show ... repeat several times (as he has) ... after a while, you don't want to bother.
I understand that a lot of people get pissed off seeing this type of thing, but I don't see many folks getting in their cars to go pick the stuff up either (myself included ... that was a nice CC cab, but I couldn't be bothered to drive 9 hours round trip for an empty CC).
If SOMEBODY had made the effort, then the stuff would have been gone before he could smash it up.

Sometimes I hate living in Utah.
Unless I drive to california (or maybe denver) there is little to no free cabs around here. The market is pretty cutthroat. Would be nice to have the option.

That's pretty messed up right there. Now have I wanted to assert the pimp hand? hell yeah...but I am afraid of the various sanctions that would be slapped on me in the aftermath. ;D

I just cleared a bunch of trees at the cottage ... no energy and no gas to take it to the wife (chainsaw or other).

That's not cool man. One day all we will be able to do is look at these old machines in a museum and say "i remember when these things used to be out in public". Pretty soon, there will be none left.
