Whats the difference between an orbital jigsaw and a scrolling orbital jigsaw?

Nothing? Might help to know which saws you're looking at... Usually, the main difference is between saws that have orbital motion and those that don't.

Jigsaws can be orbital or not and scrolling or not.

This one is Scrolling Orbital (http://www.tylertool.com/skill.html)  Notice the Knob on the top?  That will let you rotate the blade without physically rotating the whole saw.  This can be useful in tight spaces or when trying to make tighter radius cuts.  It can take some getting used to.

This is an orbital jigsaw (http://www.skilshop.com/saws/jigsaws/4567-02-rt.html?ref=nextag4567-02-rt).  Notice that the there is no knob.  The blade cannot be rotated, you must turn the whole saw.
