am I just a moron, or does romcenter not recognize files within a subdirectory...

  I have the roms in sub folders, and if you add the parent directory, it shows the roms as unknown files, whereas if you directly add the folder, it recognizes them.

I would add each subfolder seperately, but thats a pain! plus if you have roms in the parent folder, you can't add that folder if you have already added a child folder? Am I confusing you yet?

I would rather use romcenter than clrmame.. clrmame has too many options for me ;) i like the simple and clean romcenter interface

No, neither clrmame or romcenter look in subdirectories.
