Title: Multcade almost finished
Post by: Hawk Daddy on September 05, 2007, 11:07:06 pm
Check out the pics and tell me what you think.  Here is also a quick price estimate that I came up with.

Cab complete(with broken millipede board, and broken monitor)=$40
Monitor bought with a zaxxon=$50
New metal fabed control panel=$50
Controls=$25
Wiring=$30
All the power parts from a Mercs=$50
60in1 Board=$275
Trackball= Found inside the centipede that I bought and didn’t know it was in there.

Total $520

And I have made money off the other machines that I have bought, so I’d say the price is probably down to around $400 for the complete multicade  not to bad.

Just over look the mess, the angels, and the flowers, they are my moms, yes I still live at home, I'm only 19 and go to college, so get over your selves.

Artwork on the millipede cab is in great shape.   Nice conversion with minimal changes to the cab.   Cab is very appropriate to house the 60 in 1 board.

Great work  :applaud:

The only thing major changes on the cab was the marquee box was added.  I had a new control panel made, I still have the old on, incase I want to go back.

She's cool with the arcades, as long as they don't stay sitting in the middle of the living room floor for two long.

I got it from a member here, but he doesn't stock them anymore cause he used to sell them on ebay, and they told him that he couldn't, jammaboards.com has alot of jamma boards.

Hey, no worries there. I'm in the same boat, although I'll be turning 21 the end of this year. My parent's are fine with the arcade stuff, however I honestly feared for my life when I brought the Steel Talons home from an auction.

Love the Multicade, that's on a to-do list for myself once I get a few of these other projects out of the way. I've got three machines I'm in the middle of restoring, three more waiting to be started on, and am trying to finish up a coffee table I'm building. Gosh, I love projects.

How much did you spend on the steel talons?

A whole whopping $10. :D Nobody wanted to bid on it, but I figured there was at least $10 worth of parts in there.

Am I overlooking something, or did you build a Centipede/Millipede themed multicade with a multiboard, and have no trackball?
