Title: Sound in Karate Champ

When using my default mame options and playing Karate CHamp(or ANY of the clones) the sound is terrible! The voices are way too slow, kinda like Barry White chain smoking 6 packs a day..

resamplefilter          1
sound                   1
volume                  0

I've tried both lower and higher sample rates, turned off resample but it all sounds pretty much the same)

I'm using mame.61, I don't think the roms have changed- is this a known driver/rom issue or is it jsut me?

Check out www.mametesters.com and see if they have reported a bug.

Also, try upgrading to the latest MAME version.

You may also try setting your sample rate to 44100

Upgrading to the latest version of DirectX sometimes helps as well.
