Post by: JamesMolloy on April 29, 2003, 01:41:56 pm
I was browsing Sega.jp and I see the hardware division have a page showing all of the cabinets. I thought you guys might like to have a look.

Here are all the standard Sega cabs. I'd been looking for these for bloody ages because I want to buy one. Finally got some decent pictures.

Loads more dedicated cabinet pictures. The Afterburner one is class. Rare to see these things in good condition.

Never seen a space harrier cockpit before.

Also, those links don't work. You need to change the addresses so the ... is removed. and the whole word "database" is in there.

Pardon. The board cut off part of the url for some reason. Should work fine now.

You can play those exact cabinets, Hang-On and Space Harrier in the Dreamcast game Shenmue.  I'm kinda amazed though, because I thought they just had some made up cabinets for the two games, but they were those EXACT cabinets.  Space Harrier cabinet would be helllla fun, Hang-On maybe not so much, but still would be pretty freakin cool.
Those versus japanese cabinets are f*ing amazing.  When I went to japan 2 years ago they have lines of those things.  Next time I go to Japan I'm definitely bringing a Camera, gonna have to take pictures of the arcades over there, 5 stories of awesomeness.
