both the zip and the ai file for the galaga marquee is corrupt from the arcade art website. ive tried downloading both 3 different times and at the most all you get is a file with just a small section of the marquee.
does anyone have a copy of this file that is good and working it would be appreciated.

yea something is wrong with the file. if you download the marquee its only the middle section. does anyone have this file before it was ruined.

Who hosts those? I keep meaning to drop them a line to say both the Ms pac and pac cocktail underlays have an improper black background shade. The pac is more of a gray. The Ms. pac is a little better, but still needs to be a darker black.

the file is in fact inciorrect, but the full marquee is included, you must chnage the document size in order to have the whole graph displayed
edit: document size modified, marquee updated on vectorlib

I have all the Galaga and Galaxian art if u haven't gotten it already... The art on local arcade site is the full marquee, whoever did it, just forgot to take the "Artboard" and "Page Tiling" off of the final picture...

Oh, no disrespect intended... I really hope u didn't take it that way...
I just happened to look at it in Illustrator, and noticed the problem... As I too had the same issue with the marquee... But I just went in and removed the page tiling, and artboard, and it's as good as new!
Great job on the marquee!
Also wanted to point out that the Galaxian "Left" side art only works if u have Illustrator installed... I can lend a hand helping u sort these out if u need...

The error says :
"This is an Adobe® Illustrator® file that was
saved without PDF content.
To place or open this file in other
applications, it should be re-saved from
Adobe Illustrator with the "Create PDF
Compatible File" option turned on. This
option is in the Illustrator Native Format
Options dialog box, which appears when
saving an Adobe Illustrator file using the
Save As command."

the error you get is due to some version mismatch beetween the illustrator you use and th eone I used.
abyway I'll save it with pdf embeded and update the marquee.

How are you opening the file? If you open .ai, .eps, or .pdf files with Photoshop, for some reason it brings the RGB values of black up to 30,30,30 from 0,0,0. A quick levels adjustment will fix this, but it's better to open those files with Illustrator which doesn't cause that problem.

I opened and printed them at work with Acrobat.
