Title: Model2 =+ Daytona USA = "Network card not connected, cancelling"
Post by: ARTIFACT on August 22, 2007, 01:34:35 am
I'm sure this is a silly newbie thing again  .......... ;D

is there a config / switch I need to set on Model2 emu (Nebula team's) to launch and play Daytona?

Thanks!

Press F2 and go to game system. Change link id to single.

sorry to revive such an old thread.

Is there a way to have the rom configured so I only need to change from master to single once ?

Or is there another option so it still thinks it's a master but no other player playing ?

I just put the m2network.ini in the directory last night but it still is waiting for a connection.

thanks
Matt

figured it out, when I press unload rom on v1.0 my emu crashes so the config is not updated. When I then do the setup within v0.9 and unload my config stays set.
thanks

I hit F2 and I cant even figure out how to set it to single.  Can you post your cfg?  Should I use .9 for Daytona instead of 1.0?

you hit f2, then you use your VR buttons (what ever you had them configured as) to traverse the menu, then you select (start key I think) game system then you can change to single etc..

The important thing to remember is to uload the ROM so the config is saved.
