I'm bouncing between two versions of jukjebox software for my project.
Each so far has their own pro's and con's.
SK Jukebox seems fairly close to the functionality I need....... BUT ..... a couple features I like/need that the other software does is what I have questions on.
1. I need to be able to use Track 00 as a single song track.
(i.e. so that I have tracks 100-199, 200-299, etc)
2. Can the delay in between songs be adjusted in any way ?
(would like a little longer delay)
3. Is it possible to play a short sound clip prior to a song starting?
(like a snipit of the pops and clicks of an old record)
4. Can the startup volume be adjusted to start at a lower level other than 100% ?
(this juke is amplified and it will crank)
I'm sure there may be a couple other questions later, but for the most part I have SK doing just what I want it to.
Just trying to compare software details.
Thanks.

1. No matter what I did I could not get it to accept 00 as a song track. It might be possible but I did not get it to work.
4. Startup volume can be maintained as the last set vol in the startup menu. I think it is restore volume when starting program.
2. Not that I know of.
3. Not that I know of.

Thanks BobA....
I tried several variations for track 00 also, but it seems to be solely there for full album options only. (bummer)
I will have to try the volume restore option out.
Can I set the volume once...shutsown....and it rerstore to that point everytime from then on?
Or does it set a restore point per say for every session that the software is run and then shutdown? (and restart at whatever volume level it was at at the time of shutdown)
Guess I could play with it a bit to see.
I kinda figured the other two questions were simply not an option at all for SK.
(sound snipit and the delay period)
Still pretty cool jukebox software though.
Works well in all other aspects for this project of mine.
EDIT:
Just tested this out.......answer = must set volume each time.
Or does it set a restore point per say for every session that the software is run and then shutdown? (and restart at whatever volume level it was at at the time of shutdown)

So far as the volume goes there is an option in the "options" settings for startup/shutdown to restore volume on startup to what you had it the last time. It works for me anyhow.

Yeah, that seems to work fine as long as I remember to turn it back down a little before shutting it off.
I might not have to worry about it at all if I decide to run the audio through a seperate stereo, since it will then have it's own volume control and I can leave the PC volume 100%.
Still playing with options though.
Still need track 00....... :P
Anyone know what software SKJuke was written with?
(might be able to tweak the track variables) (?)
Hadn't heard from SalmonKing himself about it.
