None of my DVD players have a clock on the front.

Oh, Tex.  Is this the best you could come up with today?  Of course I have to take the poll anyway since I'm trying to collect the whole set.

I have a Phillips dvp642 - it has no clock. Small price to pay for set-top divx compatibility. ;D

Yeah, kinda lame.  Popped into my head last night as I drifted off. . . :dunno

I haven't had a VCR for years.  DVD players almost never have clocks.

It may not be showing on the front, but a lot of DVD players and DVR's have the time on an ODS (on-screen display)... and my Tivo is set on the right time automatically.   ;)

Well, DVR's for largely the same reason as VCR's need a clock.  They need to be able to record programming, so they need to know what time it is.  I suspect this is the biggest reason for DVD players tending not to have clocks.

no clock in my theater....the time on the pronto remote shows the correct time however.

In my living room, no clock on DVD, Tivo automatically sets but only shows on OSD.  In my theater, no clock on DVD changer, PC automatically sets from internet, no clock HD DirecTV box.

My microwave... I set that whenever it's wrong.  No flashing here. *at least not my clocks*

My DVD player doesn't have a clock, and my VCR resides in a box in a closet somewhere.  At least I think it does...

We can always take a vote on what your next poll should be.

<horrible pun>
And do you have any really old polls? I want to try poll-vaulting.

Dang straight, nobody sits close enough to read the VCR clock anyways.

And nobody sets both clocks right in their car if it has more than 1.
Heck, I don't even set my truck clock when daylight savings time comes, I let it stay that way till the time comes back around.
