Look Mom, no asterisks!
A new commercial that I am in is currently airing but I can't seem to find it.
It's for Dryer's "Dibs" ice cream. Me and some other dude in an office talking about the dibs.
Anyone seen it?
Can someone rip and post it for me? Apparently it aired during "Dancing with the stars" tonight.
Thanks!

East of the Mississippi (or some ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---), Dreyers is called Edy's ice cream.
Easterners probably didn't see it.

good point.

Is there a reason you want us to rip and post it?

because he's a tard.....
-
But is he broken or has he worn out his consumable parts?
-
The Crunch Dibs are awesome. That's really all I have to contribute since I haven't seen the commercial.
-
I assume he will rip it if he happens to see it, but a specific commercial can be hard to catch. My little brother has been in four or five and he's never seen any of them.
-
Well, email it to me instead of posting it...
but never mind anyway. I saw it tonight. Man I look like a big nosed, balding ---meecrob---.
-
For some reason I always assumed that if a person were hired to be in a movie, TV show, commercial, etc.. they would at least be provided with a copy of it.
Although, technically you didn't say you were hired... maybe you were just jumping around in the background like some big-nosed, balding ---meecrob---. ;D
-
Actually, I saw this commercial earlier today. Were you the guy with the dibs, or the guy asking about it?
-
I'm the white guy asking about it.
They will give you a copy, you just have to send the production company a dvd-r in a SASE.

ok, a DVD-R and a stamp... about $1.20, maybe less?? It's your career and your dumb commercial and you can't spend a buck 20 to get a decent copy? You want us to do the work for you?? Ok, you just keep waiting I'll post it for you any minute now... ::)

Awwwwww, why so upset cutie???
Didn't you read up above that I already saw it so nevermind?
Come on princess, I know you like beating the man t*ts on your chest but seriously.
Oh, and it takes about 3 weeks to get the DVD back from the production company. That's why I asked sweetheart. Sorry to upset your day.
*hugs*

This is so weird to me. Why would anybody give a ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- whether someone asked if you wouldn't mind ripping it? In order to rip it, you already have to happen to have it recorded on a DVR. From there it takes all of two minutes to rip. The primary purpose of this website is a community of people who help each other out. I can understand feeling like you can't be bothered, but I don't really understand being pissed off that he would even ask. If I noticed that I had it recorded on my ReplayTV I'd go ahead and rip it. What's the big deal? People around here have done a lot for me.
-
The annoying part is that he can't be bothered but wonders if we can. It's not the first time he's made that request.

Wow. Just wow. Pure gold right here. ChrisG, I think he might of just replaced your quote on my sig. I don't have room for both. What do you guys think?

Put it straight to your custom title.
-
Only Saint has those powers.
-
Definitely custom title-worthy, although probably not family-friendly enough.
Horseboy - it has truly been an honor, so if you're feelin' froggy... leap. ;D (although SavannahLion may feel slighted...)
-
Saint cannot contain the truth.
-
Why, is he only omniscient?
-
If he were omniscient things would start in Post Hell.

Maybe. I just assume that if he catches it on TV he's good and will rip it himself (given that he has a DVR). It just doesn't seem like the type of thing that you can just do yourself, short of watching TV for twelve hours a day every day and hope to get lucky. The DVD-R/SASE thing changes things a bit, and I've never heard of that before (neither has my little brother, apparently). But still, if I were in a commercial I'd rather just see a clip of it online than mail that stuff to the studio and wait a few weeks before I got to see it. I'd have asked y'all the same thing. In the mean time, I'd hope to catch it myself, but my chances would just be a lot better if more people were watching for it.

Doesn't your brother have a reel of his work?
