Hi all,
I have looked and looked, and can't seem to find a good answer to this question.
I have a Ultimate Arcade II from mameroom:
http://www.mameroom.com/product_UltimateArcadeII.asp
I also have a Betson 27" arcade monitor.
I am just "missing" completely on how to mount the monitor inside the cabinet!
Obviously I need some brackets of some sort to do this, but which ones? and how?
The UA II manual for mounting monitors is very weak.
In fact, it has nothing about it, it literally says "Consult the manual of your arcade monitor for details on how to mount the monitor"
Of course, the "unshipped" Betson manual has nothing about how to mount it, and besides,
I suspect the "howto" on it is really more of a cab specific thing, rather than a monitor thing.
Has anyone done a Betson monitor mount in an UA II?
If so how?
Thanks!
Scott

I would probably attach a couple strips of wood horizontally to the insides of the monitor area to attach to the front of the monitor as well as adding something to the monitor 'shelf' for the monitor frame to rest on so all the weight isn't only on the two pieces of wood.

I purchasd the steel monitor brackets from slikstik these work perfect for mounting the betson & look very clean

DM you just beat me to it! Here's a link (http://www.slikstik.com/detail.aspx?ID=63) to the brackets. I haven't used these but have been considering them... or something like em.

Money well spent & very professional looking

Those do look nice.
I'd bet that you could pick up a piece of angle iron about like that and cut and drill it yourself if you are on a budget...
Here's a pic I have showing brackets like those...
