Title: Um, how does one play Pac Man with a trackball...?

I have seen one in person (those are not home built, but they may be unlicensed), and you play Pac-Man with the trackball by rolling it around the maze.

If the programming was modified so you had complete analog control over Pac-Man with the trackball, like you do with say, the targeting crosshairs in Missile Command, that would be an interesting variation to try.

Did th epacman merely move in the direction you rolled or did it also have varying speed? THat would be a really interesting way to play pacman!

I saw one again a few weeks ago. Definitely not homebuilt. The software screen claims the games are licensed, although I doubt that.
