Title: Coaxial Connection Only
Post by: Eric1970 on March 06, 2007, 12:34:33 am
I got my hands on a free TV with one connecter onthe back - a coaxial cable.  While searching from a PC to TV conveter , they seem to only support  composite/S-video/RGB video outputs - no coaxial cable.  Is there anything out there to help or am I SOL?

thanks.

They also sell RF converters at Radio Sack and the like for about $20.  Be warned though -- going that route will probably yield the worst image possible on a TV.  You will be going from S-video to composite to RF.

I don't think you'll be satisfied with the converter or using a VCR to change the image. They add a ton of video noise to the image. Save yourself the aggravation and get a better display.

Definitely.  I also 'found' a TV, lately.  And though it has S-video, my cable was S to composite.   Looked like the image was in the middle of a slight mirage.
