Title: GameEX WOW !!! ....... But it wont find my roms

I just took a look at Game EX FE.......  It's the ducks guts


It will not , however show any of my mame roms.


I have checked and rechecked. It is pointing to them in the config file/setup menu
They exist and exist in the dir i stated in setup
They work with mame32
mame32 is in the directory i stated
mame32 works
the roms show in mame 32
the games play in mame 32




Any thing I have missed?


Any help would be muchly appreciated.  I like the look of GameEX so much I am going to build a new cab around it...   But if I can't get it to work not much point

You have to run the "Update List" menu item.

Several times

I even tried relocating some roms to another dir and pointing gameEx there......... alas no sho

There must be something simple your doing wrong. Go to Start->Programs->GameEx->Setup Wizard->Custom->Basic Mame Settings then click the [...] browse button next to "Mame Path" and select your Mame folder. Hopefully it should fill in the rest of the paths for you. If you have a ROM folder somewhere else browse for that next. Then try an update.

ok i reinstalled mame32  and it worked :)  as said --BINGO! Either that, or I was attempting to say "before" but it was too many letters to type--  WOW WOW WOW
