Title: question about CP buttons
Post by: jpaquett on February 25, 2007, 10:11:32 am
Hello, I'm currently planning my CP and I have 2 questions about button layout to which I coulnd't find the answer in the forum...

1. Some CP have 7 action buttons for each player.  Is there any MAME games that use that much button or is it only for other emulators like PS?

2. Some CP have pinball buttons on each side.  Usually, there're 2 pushbuttons on each side.
One is obviously the flipper.  What is the other one for?? (tilt?, lauching the ball??)

Thanks for your help.
Jeff

The 7th button is for playing Neo-Geo games.  This puts 4 buttons in a line like they were on the Neo-Geo cabs.  If the extra button is on the lower left then the bottom row is used for Neo-Geo.  If the extra button is on the upper right then the top row is used.

The pinball buttons are simple, one is for the flipper and the other is to 'nudge' the table from that side.

TTFN
