I am interested in applying some images to the button controls of my jukebox software so I can skin it up nice. I am just looking for some sites which have nice button images including digits, arrows, etc....
I have spent a lot of time hunting for sites on the web and found a lot of images but not a lot of nice ones ..... and hardly no digits, arrows, etc.....
Any help would be appreciated ...... thanks

No, I do not want arcade cabinet buttons ......
I am looking for buttons wich have digits (0->9) on them as well as some which have arrows. Basically, some nice images for me to use as command-style buttons for the application.

Your best bet is probably to find a really nice blank button, then use Photoshop or its ilk to add what you want on top. You can check many of the free font places, like dafont.com, for their winding fonts which sometimes have decent arrows and such. In my experience it's tough to find exactly what you're looking for sometimes, but if you can throw a few different pieces together you'll get what you want, plus the satisfaction of doing some of it yourself. If that sort of thing appeals to you.

That is just it ..... coding appeals to me ..... Photoshop shop stuff ..... not so much :-\

Same problem here, but if you get a nice button that has the look you're going for, it's a fairly simple process to overlay a number or arrow on top of it. Much easier than finding buttons with all of the numbers and symbols you are looking for.
Of course your other option would be to offer up a few bucks to one of the artists here to create custom buttons for you, but you'd have to give them a starting point (i.e. color, 3D or 2D flat, etc.).
Personally I like the buttons on the new Windows Media Center. You could take a screen shot of the oversized Play button and start from there. You can see extensive use of the button here:
