Automotive amplifiers are all designed for operation on 13.8 volts, but most people just call it 12 volts DC.

There are tons of good power supplies out there that can run these amplifiers. Naturally higher wattage amplifiers need a bigger power supply to run it.

Visit www.mcminone.com (MCM Electronics) and take your pick of any of these fine power supplies:

# 72-8140 (3 amp current rating)
# 72-8141 (6 amp current rating)
# 72-8142 (10 amp current rating)
# 72-8143 (15 amp current rating)
# 72-8144 (20 amp current rating)

Post by: Barry Barcrest on February 23, 2007, 05:01:44 am: WOW Thoose took me back to the days of CB Radio, i used to have a 15amp one running my CB. It used to be quite noisey if i remeber correctly, quite a noticable hum from the power supply itself.
