Title: Tekken 3 Wiring Diagram
Post by: Bleagh on February 10, 2007, 06:57:43 pm
Does anyone have a Tekken 3 manual or at least the wiring diagram they could share? or know where where to find it?

http://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF%20Arcade%20Manuals%20and%20Schematics/Tekken_3_Operations_Manual.pdf (http://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF%20Arcade%20Manuals%20and%20Schematics/Tekken_3_Operations_Manual.pdf)

Anything specific you needed to know?
It's basically a jamma cab wiring setup aside from the extra buttons.

Thanks for the link!

I was looking for a pinout of the six pin dc power connector on the back corner of the board but It doesnt seem to be in the manual.

When I got my cabinet it had been converted to Tekken 3. The board is fried, but the only connectors used were the two edge connectors (JAMMA and the kick harness).

I'm not sure what that connector is for, but it's nothing to do with hooking it up to the cabinet. You might check out the manuals for some other Namco System12 games. Here's a good list:

Since System12 was designed to be a base hardware for many games (it's playstation-based), it may just be an auxillary connector that wasn't used for Tekken 3.

My Mr Driller 2 (system10) PCB also has this connector, but it isn't used on it either.

THat connector is for the Japanese "JVS" cabinets. You don't need to worry about it, because the board also gets power through the JAMMA harness.
