what type paint is best for a cab done in formica countertop material?

I am wanting to paint one in black and not have it too shiny but not real dull either and I was wondering wich type stick's best without flaking or wearing out easily?

Krylon has a new plastic spray paint that might be good.

I experimented with the Krylon (H20?) on Formica brand laminate and the results weren't good.  Scratched off pretty easily with my fingernail.

Get Zinsser (Zissner?) primer. It stick to anything and goes on in one coat.
