Title: help with contols on jamma cab

i have a 2 player jamma cab its a bas cab
just put a neo geo 1 slot system in with league bowling cart installed put it on 2 player but when you use 1 player conrols they activate player 2 controls as well (buttons only) i had world cup game in previous and hought the same was happening when playing in 2 player mode aswell

First thing to do then would be to physically trace the wiring from the JAMMA connector and see if the wiring is going to the appropriate control. (buttons, joystick, etc)

Sounds like they may just be switched around up at the controls.
Since you said it seemed to do it with the other game as well as this one.

i dropped the control panel down and there was a connector that was joining the 2 sets of controls so i uncoupled and its fine now????????
wtf was that connector for?

Maybe someone did that so that the buttons would be ambidextrious (probably speeled wrong).
So that you could use either set of buttons in a one player game or something.
Defineately odd if there are still both stick s in it though...  :dunno

So does player two work like it should now?
Or will you have to wire that back in properly?

player 2 works like player 2 now tested on a 1 slot set up screen

but just a bit of useless info the joysticks worked independantly before it was just the buttons that were the same the connector in question looks like factory fitted so god knows what its there for....
