Title: Quick ZSNES query

Should be an easy one to answer.....

Does anyone know how to turn off the messages that appear on the lower part of the screen when you launch a rom in ZSNES? They bug the hell out of me but I can't seem to find the option to turn them off (if there is one) and stop ruining my arcade experience!

I know what you mean, but I can not figure out how to get rid of the text either.   Looks like the text displayed informs you of the title of the game and various settings it is using.  It appears right when the game starts and disappears about 3 seconds later.     

Anyway, you might want to try to forums from the ZSNES site:

http://www.zsnes.com/

Go to the site, scroll down to the bottom and click "You may enter the forums here" link.  Then for some strange reason, you have to scroll down to the bottom of the next page and do the same thing.  You are now at the forums.  It looks like they are active as well, so you are in luck.

Remember you must be a member to post in the forums ....

It is not currently possible without patching the current release, which I believe is 1.42. It will be an option in the next official release and it is currently available in the latest WIP build at IPHER's website.

Thanks for the info. Shame it can't be done now, but I may get the WIP version. Oh well, keep up the good work and I look forward to the new version.
