Title: SONY PVM-2530 Does this monitor display Arcade RGB
Post by: albert_c on November 21, 2006, 02:54:47 pm
I'm about to score this monitor locally.  It has RGB, but can anyone tell me for sure if it's the same 15hz RGBHVG like an arcade monitor?  Will a standard arcade board running at low res work with this monitor?

Thanks!

This monitor are used for like Advertising such as the ones in a 7-11 stores (as I'm told). I have one but forgot the namebrand and mine is a 21". This suzkerz are so heavy. This are really commercial made and built like a tank IMO.

So anyway, it does 15khz (well mine did) using the RGB connections on the back. I tried some veritcal classics like the PAC family, Dkong Family etc... Looks nice...

I'm told that this monitors are/were expensive. I have done a little research on the brand I have and it did cost lots of $$$$$....

Its to bad your in the Jose section. I could probably sell you mine for $100.00 but then the shipping will KILL YOU on the spot :) Well, I really dunno but this beast are very heavy. Good luck
