Title: How do I get this Dell 19" monitor of out its case?
Post by: AlanS17 on October 30, 2006, 01:05:51 pm: I'm trying to decase a 19" Dell monitor, and it's bugging the crap out of me. There were two screws at the bottom back, but it's somehow clipped together somewhere at the top front. :banghead:

There appear to be two slots where a flat head screw driver would fit. I figured maybe there was a clip in there I could reach, but I can't seem to hit it. Am I just not using enough force? Is there some sort of technique I need to use?

I'll get a moel number if that'll help anybody help me.

Post by: Popcorrin on October 31, 2006, 09:42:30 am: You have the right spot. You just need to use more force. If you can try to pull the casing apart while you put pressure on that clip it should slide apart.

Just decased mine this afternoon and had a similar problem; this worked for me.
