Title: mame command version.. trackball enable help.
Post by: katuuuz on October 06, 2006, 03:56:25 pm
hey guys, just switched it up from gui to mame command... since i'm running it from game ex front end.  i hadn't had this problem before with the gui version, but i can't get my mouse(trackball) enabled in the command line.  in the gui i went to "default game options" and enabled the mouse.  this enabled it for every trackball game, not just 1.  i'd like to enable the mouse for every trackball game in the command version also, not just one specific game.  thanks.

i went into the mame.ini file and changed mouse to 0, didn't work, changed it to 1, didn't work, went into advance mame options in gameex config, tried adding the command -mouse, didn't work, tried -[no]mouse wouldn't launch games. i don't know what to do.

You definitely need mouse 1 in the mame.ini file.  After that, I think you have to go into the mame input setup (hit tab to get there) and map the trackball device to your trackball (by spinning it).

Good luck.
