I've had a Magnavox Odyssey 4000 sitting the garage for a few years. When it was put out there it worked perfectly. I took it out a couple weeks ago only to find that the power supply and video converter are both missing. How they got out of the box, I don't know. But I'm kind of stuck now since I have no way of plugging the thing in. So, before I start playing around with different connections and voltages (ughh), I thought I would ask if anyone knows for sure.
I need to know the powersupply voltage and polarity. I also need to know what the box was that it used to plug into. I don't know if it just converted it to standard modulated, or if it had a transformer. I also have no idea what that bizarre connector is on the end.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I could probably fake the video, but I would like to know about the powersupply. So, if anyone has one, that info would be a great help.

I would imagine that info is out there... not familiar with that particular console myself. You may be better off just finding a parts console and using the power supply from that.
It's the 3000, but it's a start (http://www.vidgame.net/PONG/ODY3000.html).

I've looked and looked for the info. That link is about the closest thing I've seen, thanks.
I considered getting another machine on eBay. But this is just the kind of thing of "if I can get it working, great".

Where are you located? If you can't get it working, I'll give you a token something for it. I hate to see old consoles tossed. I don't have the parts you need or I'd send them to you but I may eventually come across them.

Southern California. But I can assure you it won't be tossed. If nothing else, it will get a display position either next to my other consoles or on top of an arcade machine.

You might want to post your question on the Atariage forums also. They have an entire forum dedicated to pong and other dedicated consoles.
