Title: Sudden V-Hold problem
Post by: yugffuts on September 13, 2006, 07:30:02 pm
Hey guys,

I've had my MAME cab up and running for about 6 months.  WG 25K7191 monitor, using an Arcade VGA card.  Once it was up and running originally, it ran great, up until tonight.  Now, the image is scrolling vertically, and will not come to a stop.  I have tried changing the resolution through windows, and played with the V Hold adjustment, but no luck.  The V Hold does make a difference, it just doesn't fix it, so I don't think it's the pot.

Anyone have any idea why the V hold would suddenly change behavior so severely? And/or how to fix it?

Thanks

Not since I've owned it (last 3-4 years).

I wasn't having any luck with the adjustments, so I went back to PC troubleshooting.  I reseated the AVGA and made sure all the connections were tight, and that seems to have done it.  It's been OK for the last half hour or so.

Thanks anyway.
