just wanted to pass along a good deal. the hori tekken 5 stick with the tekken 5 game included is now $30 at gamestop. The hori sticks are great for modding. The box was still marked $99 dollars at the gamestop I went to but it rang up $30.

Could you give us a link or something. I am unedjucated on what system this is for, what it looks like, etc...

Long Amazon link (http://www.amazon.com/Tekken-5-Ultimate-Collectors-Edition/dp/B0007U0GTS/sr=8-2/qid=1157687778/ref=pd_bbs_2/002-4454378-6261626?ie=UTF8&s=videogames)
It's for the Playstation 2. It is the Tekken 5 game and an arcade joystick made by Hori. Decent controls from what I've read, but also very easy to swap nice Sanwa stuff into as well.
I'm going to try to grab one (maybe 2) tomorrow if there are any at my local stores.

Not bad for $30 plus you can always sell the tekken 5 game that comes with it for about $10 then you have a $20 stick

I would have got mine in first but the wife was nagging me to go get somthing out of her car ;D
The boxes will probably still have the $100 price on them. Just have them scan it for the real price.

I'm really hoping there is one left at my local store by the time I get home for the weekend from school. I know they had at least 2 at one time, and they had been there a while.
Stupid friday afternoon classes :hissy: :banghead:

Just picked one of these up. Funny, the guy working behind the counter said he was relieved I was buying it because it had been on the shelf for over a year. It had the $29.99 price sticker on it and it was the only one they had.
I'm so used to playing Tekken with a joypad, I probably will be using this thing mostly for playing Street Fighter anthology. Maybe I can swap the Tekken artwork for some SF2 or 3 artwork... I may try to locate another one on the way home today.
So what's the hot set up with these things. Swap for a new stick and buttons? Any suggestions there? I haven't taken it out of the box yet but I can tell you one thing; it's HEAVY.

Thanks for posting this. I got my girlfriend to look at some stores today and she found a store with 2 left.
She got both.. I'll probably be switching the joys in them soon. What are most people swapping in? Sanwas?
-
I would go with sanwa joystick and buttios. Heres a link to a thread about modding it.

They were talking about it over at Shoruken also.

This is an absurd deal! these things go for 120 Euro (about $150) here in Europe if you're able to find one. And that's without the game!
Is there anyone her who is willing to buy an extra one for me? I'll pay for all shipping and expenses (including your gas and lunch :) )

Mine is out too. :( If anyone can find one and is willing to ship it to me I would pay ya! Let me know. I am at 47403 Thanks guys

Anyone have an extra NubyTech Street Fighter Anniversay stick? I have a new Tekken stick that I'd like to trade for one.

a ps2 or an xbox one?

The unit is compatible with both consoles.
