Andy said that the ArcadeVGA does't work with med res monitors. What do you folks use for a vid card then?
Thanks!

So I guess no one here uses a med res monitor then?
From my research, looks like I can use an ATI Radeon and Advance MAME to get reprogram the ATI card to display correctly on the med res monitor. Right?

ArcadeVGA is specifically designed for standard resolution arcade monitors... You may be able to get your display setup correctly on a medium resolution monitor by using powerstrip or advancemame. I'm not positive though.

I figured someone actually using one would have replied by now... Anyways, it is possible to use a Med. res. monitor, under DOS you need to use MonArc 24 (I forget which site had that, but a search on Google should pull up the page).
Under Windows, Powerstrip should be able to get 24kHz out of most cards, but YMMV. From what I've heard the Matrox G400 dual head cards can do it using the card's driver.

Thanks guys for replying. Now I have some more lead to do research on. I'll post back once I have some progress.
Thanks!
