I have tried everything I can think of to get Winkawaks to take a command line launch and all it does it lauch the gui and does not load the game. I have tried from Mamewah, from a bat file, from a command prompt etc and nothing. In the Whats new there is an entery around 1.3x that command line options were added and I do not see any note of them being removed but trying winkawaks.exe -help does not work it launches the gui.
Anyone got any help on getting this to work from a command line lauch right into the a game?

You need a wrapper for winkawaks. I've attached the wrapper. This is what your ini file should look like in mamewah.

You have to the wrapper in the same folder as winkawaks.
Right click on Kawaks.bat and click on edit. Change it to reflect your path. The only problem is you still need to press enter before you exit. It works for me since i'm using a usb pad along with joytokey where you can assing multiple key presses to one button.

You might need to go to My document>Tools>Folder Options>View and uncheck Hide extensions for known file types to change the extension from jpg to zip
