I apologize if I'm rehashing something here, but I couldn't fit this in any of the other sections....
I built a custom cabinet and built my own control panel. I did not use any SlikStik type packaged products etc, so I'm really trying to do everythin the best way possible.
I need to find a really excellent way of mounting, routing and managing all of the cables inside my CP.
General layout mathes that of the original Ultimate Arcade II CP.
I was thinking Cat 6 cable with Ethernet plugs for any needed disconnects, but whats the best way to route and fasten them to the MDF?

You can generally bundle them with zip-ties and then use the plastic wire loom type clamps to attach the bundles to the cabinet itself.
This link shows the coated metal ones also, but they are really overboard for what you are doing. Just one method anyways.

I prefer those sort of things over the ones Kevin linked. With the ones in Kevin's link, if you have to open and close them a few times, you end up with stripped out screw holes in MDF because the screw that holds them in place is also the one that holds them shut. With the ones I linked, it just provides an anchor to attach to, so you don't end up with that issue.

Those had crossed my mind also.
But then I thought about surface texture and cleanliness of the wood, quality of the adhesive depending on which ones you get, etc, etc, so I didn't mention them.
But generally speaking.... good call.
