Hi all!
I need a Galaga Marquee, in this size: 50cm x 15cm (20" x 6" for the non-metrics,
JOIN US!!! Metric rulez!)
It has to be able to be backlit, and it should already be on the glass or whatever
plexi it is, so I can just pop it in ;D
For example, this one:

Is that just the paper, and I have to do what to it?
Where do I go to get this done?
Thanks

Seems like you are 70% there. You are on one of the vendors who can do this for you. It will not be on glass. In fact, here is the FAQ page of the EMDKAY.net and it will tell you that it is printed on "Glossy Photo Paper and is fade-resistant". Also, it can and should (in my opinion) be back lit.

That FAQ page also states that it is possible to submit your own file for printing. What you need to do (in order to get your desired dimensions) is go to a place like the Arcade Art Library and register and download the Galaga marquee.

After downloading, you can use a program like Photoshop (thats all I use) to make that marquee the size that you desire. At this point you should get up with EMDKAY.net and have them print out your newly sized Galaga marquee. Here are some more vendors who deal in artwork (and where to go for most of your artwork questions like the one I just answered.)

This should just about do it. The only thing up for discussion really would be which vendor to use for printing. I have not gotten anything printed so hopefully some other guys will be able to steer you in the direction of a good vendor. Hope this helps.

Cool!
Thanks!
However, maybe his standard-size is OK..I could easily cut the sides of the
marquee(and after all, it's not a galaga cab, just a standard cab with a marquee)
Are there any members here who work with such things? I mean, maybe in the
UK or Europe, someone has a niche doing this.
Otherwise, I think I'll order the one emdkay has :)
Thanks for your post!!
