Title: My tv monitor goes crazy when i try an emulator in dos mode help!!!

Hello i'm desperate for help anyone wh has any idea what may cause this please let me know. What is happening is i'm running a tv through s-video and when i play mame32 fceultra gui windows versions i have no problems. But when i tried fceultra in dos and went to start it. it starts and the tv flickers the picture superfast and you cant see anything. i then preceded to hook my monitor up while this was happening and its picture was ok?  also happens when i went to my bios? any ideas how i can fix this?

sure its a raedon 7500 built by ati.

also i just found out dos mame runs ok so far its fce ultra in dos and when i try to go to my bios is when it flickers,spins,and goes crazy.

what you think any setting on my card that can help this?

well there really isn't a setting as such but there are steps you have to go through.

Make sure your tv is on before powering up your computer. Make sure any computer monitor that's hooked up is turned off during bootup.  If your bootup sequence is being displayed then dos isn't the issue, it's the emulator itself.  Remember your card came out several years after most dos emulators ended development.  

Also if you have a video card that modern then I'm guessing your pc is farily modern too.  In which case there is absolutely no reason to be using dos anyway.  ;)
