When I received my T-2 & powered it up the menu's default to french, I went thru the setup menu & switched to English no problem. I do not leave my machines on & after powering back up the menu is in french again is this normal or should the setting have been saved in a backup battery not sure.
thanks

you will find 3 x AA batteries on the cpu board in the back box, best to change them first.

im pretty sure that was the first pin i worked on,one of the first with the larger dot matrix displays(must have been about 1991),its a bloody good game-is it fully restored??
-
yep made in 1991, my first pin yeah I purchased this off eBay supposed to be perfect inside & out, now the inside is in great shape BUT...
1. the backglass is broken in the corner with tape on it
2. the art on the side is decent(not perfect) but the artwork on the door & upper sides is bad...plus I was told Arnold is a butthole & wants to much for licensing so you cannot purchase artwork, I'm thinking about slowly over time air brushing the artwork to return it to original I'm picky
3. the hunter killer ship is missing-I have ordered it in...
4. the apron artwork is missing i have received it.
5. seller agreed to replace the apron artwork & refund $300.00 but I'm still working on that
6. board setting are not holding but hopefully a set of battery's will fix that

c'mon you should have it perfect in a couple of days, btw there is a guy on the buy/sell forum that does photoshop artwork-maybe worth giving him a shout, might be able to recreate the original artwork.
the backglass is just a clear toughened glass over a plastic artwork sheet isn't it?
i think you got a pretty good deal, don't be too tough on the seller-very few machines of that age will be in perfect showroom condition, anyway half the fun is making it perfect yourself-you get a real "i did that" feeling, anyway good luck

did new batteries sort out the menu memory?
-
If the dude doesn't refund your $300 in the next few days, file a claim through PayPal (assuming you used that to pay, of course). Be sure to include copies of the e-mails back and forth in the claim.

I ended up receiving a refund of $527.00 now im going to use the money to restore the pin, I have not changed the batteries yet, im going to get new back glass & upgrade chips & do it all at the same time
thanks
