I have a Chicago Coin Hooligan Pool Machine. I have just begun to restore this machine. It's in really decent condition, it just needs a lot of TLC. But, I can't seem to find any info on this game. How rare is this thing? The only thing I could find out about it was that it was made in 1951. Does anyone know anything about this machine? Maybe where I could get some info on it.
Thanks much, I appreciate it.

Sorry, I don't know anything about it either.
But I did notice it isn't in the IPDB (www.ipdb.org).
If you get a chance, think about taking some pictures and submitting them to IPDB.

Ahhhh!!
Sorry, when I read "Chicago Coin" I assumed it was a pinball machine.
I just found out it's a coin operated bumper pool table with mechanical scoring... Hey, that's pretty neat !

You might try asking Marvin.... if it's elctro-mechanical..... he probably has it or at least seen it.

Pinball Resource may also have something on them.
(since Chicago Coin made pinballs as well)

Thanks a lot I appreciate it. I'll give both of them a try. I hope Steve Young is in a good mood when I call... If I can get through that is.
It's a pretty interesting old piece. It should look pretty good once I get it done.
Thanks again.

hmmm... I see that you may have dealt with Steve before then? ;)
Me too.
But ya gotta respect a guy that may have what you need ya know.
Steve's easy to work with if you get the manuals and schematics for something and THEN ask about parts using the factory part numbers.
Anyways, let us know what you find out.
I like all that electro-mechanical stuff myself.

hehehe... Yeah I've had an account with him for years. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing but respect for Steve. The man knows what he's talking about. He's extremely knowledgeable. Just not the happiest man I've ever talked to that's all.... Oh and trust me, after my first conversation with him I ALWAYS have a factory part number!
